The Treasure Island Resort is a luxury hotel, located on the center of the Vegas "Strip", next to its sister-resort, The Mirage. It is also host to what has been called the most exciting show in Las Vegas - "Mystere", staged in its own theatre. One of the best free shows in Las Vegas is played out four times every evening in front of the Treasure Island, at Buccaneer Bay. A staged battle between a pirate ship and a British frigate, complete with pyrotechnics, draws a crowd all evening. Connected to The Mirage via a proprietary tram, the Treasure Island offers the best of two outstanding resorts in one premium location. The deluxe guest rooms at Treasure Island are large, classically styled and thoughtfully appointed, with upscale amenities like a high-speed Internet connection and marble bathtub plus a separate marble shower. From their rooms, guests may see a striking view of The Strip, Buccaneer Bay, the picturesque mountains or the tropical pool area.
